In August, we made some decisions to get very purposeful. This month, we'll be fleshing out more of the details.
We made a decision to start an acquisition fund. Funding at $100/meeting is core to the success of the objectives of the group. We'll need an operating agreement, attorney, accountant, joint venture agreement, check signing authority plan, etc. We'll finalize more details of the initial objectives today. Deposits are 100% refundable, but more details will be worked out at meetings.
Some months, members will present opportunities to the group for consideration. Each member always has time to present/participate. One tool with which to become familiar is Douglas Rutherford, CPA -- "Landlords Cash Flow Analyzer" software. Members may use other software, but the Landlords Cash Flow Analyzer is our "match to sample" standard. There are other good ones. If you don't have a good one, just jump right to the top with Mr. Rutherford's.
Each month, we'll explore investment opportunities, and our plan of action, being presented by members.
Participants are invited to present potential deals, for review and analysis by other members. At present, we're offering this mastermind meeting monthly on the 4th Thursday at 11:30. In November and December, we will meet on the 3rd Thursday.
