Ying Sa is the founder and Principal Certified Public Accountant at Community CPA & Associates, Inc. Ying has been featured in the Des Moines Register and the Des Moines Business Record on numerous occasions as recognition for her tireless and selfless work on behalf of the community, as well as the success of Community CPA & Associates, Inc. Ying has successfully helped numerous large corporations, nonprofits, small businesses and individuals with a broad range of complicated tax and accounting issues.
Michael Ludwig is the Planning Administrator for the City of Des Moines and has been for the past 18 years. Before coming to Des Moines, he was the Planning and Development Director for the City of Marion. He graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Community and Regional Planning and is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners.
Christopher Warnock received an M.A.(Hons.) concentrating in Renaissance and early modern history from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland) in 1986. He received a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989. He is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of Iowa, as well as the United States Court of the Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is the founder and chief counsel of the Iowa Tenants' Project, which is committed to tenants' rights and to fair play for both tenants and landlords. He was counsel of record in Staley v. Barkalow; a landmark Iowa class action and landlord/tenant case.
Brian Lohse is a voice for Iowans in our state capitol. He is a small business owner, a husband, and a father, dedicated to making his community a better place to live. He graduated from Drake Law School with a Law Degree. He has diligently served his community as the Mayor Pro Tem of Bondurant. He has served as president of both Bondurant Development, Inc. and East Polk Innovation Collaborative. In short, he cares about his community and neighbors, and wants to make sure that we have a voice for the people of House District 30 in Des Moines.
Benjamin E. Bellus is a licensed attorney serving the State of Iowa for over 27 years. A graduate from the University of Northern Iowa and Drake University, Benjamin was admitted to the US District Court – Southern District of Iowa in 1992. Benjamin currently presides in the Iowa Department of Justice as the Iowa State Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Division.
